As we continue rebuilding and growing our Sephardic community, we’re now accepting Membership and JLP applications online to help streamline the process and welcome new faces into our community.
The diffrence between Memebrship & JLP in one sentence
Membership is for belonging; JLP is for access to activities.
One Application, Separate Review & Payment
This application covers both Membership and Jewish Life Packages, but each will be reviewed and approved separately, and each requires its own payment.
For example, you may be approved for Membership but not for the Jewish Life Package, or vice versa — and each requires its own payment.
Membership vs. Jewish Life Package (JLP)
Membership Includes
- Your Name on a designated synagouge seat - all year round
- Right to place names on the memorial boards & Etz HaChayim
- One free hall use per year for a Jewish event (e.g. yahrzeit, bar mitzvah)
- Voting rights in community decisions and eligibility to be elected to the board.
Jewish Life Package (JLP) Includes
Priority and discounted access to events, Shabbat dinners, holiday meals, and Sephardic programs.
Memberships and Jewish Life Packages are not payments for goods or services, but contributions toward our ongoing fundraising to support Sephardic Jewish life. These contributions may be tax-deductible.
